Rotary Club of Monroe Foundation
The Rotary Club of Monroe Foundation is the charitable arm of our club. Every cash donation we receive goes back into the community through our service projects.
The Foundation serves to ensure that 100% of the funds we raise go back to serve our global community according to our donors wishes and in support of Rotary International's 7 Areas of Service:
Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution: Fostering peacebuilding, mediating conflicts, and supporting refugees.
Disease Prevention and Treatment: Improving healthcare access and eradicating diseases (like Polio).
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene: Providing clean water and sanitation resources, especially in schools and health facilities.
Maternal and Child Health: Increasing well-being through nutrition, maternal care, and sanitary tools.
Basic Education and Literacy: Strengthening community capacity to support education and literacy programs.
Community Economic Development: Empowering local economies, particularly focusing on opportunities for women and youth.
Supporting the Environment: Protecting the environment and supporting sustainable planetary health.
