The Art and Practice of Being Human
How do we do this? We stop taking our human connection for granted and look at being human as a conscious art. Art, in part, is a conscious practice -- an experience that is deepened over time.
In this talk, Dr. Ashwini Nayak shares stories of high-points -- of what is possible when we show up present and willing to care – and introduces her framework of Relational Meridians, a relational practice that deepens the impact of care. Developed after years at the intersection of medicine, consciousness, and human connection, she makes the case that the capacity to be genuinely present and connected—with ourselves and with another human being—is the most consequential skill any of us can develop at this moment in time. It is how we will care better in healthcare. And it is something that can be remembered, learned, and practiced.
